How do I become an IoH Sri Lanka member?
To become a member, use our online Grade Assessment Tool to find the right membership grade for your experience, then complete the application form on our Certifications page. Most applications are processed within 5–7 business days. You can also email membership@ihsrilanka.com for personal guidance.
What is the difference between AIH, MIH and FIH?
These are the three primary membership grades of the Institute of Hospitality — AIH (Affiliate) for early career professionals, MIH (Member) for hospitality managers, and FIH (Fellow) for senior industry leaders. Each is globally recognised in 100+ countries. Visit our Certifications page to compare all grades in detail.
How can my company become a corporate partner?
IoH Sri Lanka offers Silver, Gold, and Platinum corporate membership tiers that provide staff memberships, event access, CPD programs, and employer branding benefits. When is the next major IoH Sri Lanka event?

How do I register for CPD programs and workshops?
All CPD programs and workshops can be registered for through our Events page. IoH members receive priority access and discounted rates. Free webinars are available for all members. Non-members may also attend select programs — contact us for more information.
I've lost access to my member account — what do I do?
If you've lost access to your member portal account, please email membership@ihsrilanka.com with your full name and the email address associated with your membership. Our team will verify your identity and restore access within one business day.
Is my IoH Sri Lanka membership recognised internationally?
Yes. As the official Sri Lanka branch of the Institute of Hospitality (UK), all AIH, MIH, and FIH designatory letters are recognised in 100+ countries worldwide. This global recognition is one of the most significant advantages of IoH membership for hospitality professionals pursuing international careers.
